Software implementation is often the "MVP" in the team, without careful programming many of the methodological advantages of the research of the team would be without benefit. Hence, we put intensive effort into this aspect. We strongly favor R and its package distributrion system (CRAN). All our software components are open source with appropriate GNU General Public Licenses, well documented and easy to use.  

With current and past group members we have developed and contributed to many useful and relevant R packages, broadly classified in the following three categories:

• Packages linked to the analysis and the methodology of spatial data
• Packages linked to the analysis and the methodology of additive Bayesian networks
• General purpose packages and some other specialized tools and packages
