On random choices of boundary conditions for hybrid problems

Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Yves Capdeboscq

Datum: 06.05.20  Zeit: 16.15 - 17.45  Raum: Online ZHACM CANCELLED

In this presentation we will first discuss why Jacobian constraints play a role in the resolution of hybrid inverse problems, and why they pose a challenge in most cases. Then we will see that a geometric projection method due to Whitney coupled with a unique continuation principle for elliptic PDEs allows to choose a small number of boundary conditions so that such constraints are satisfied.
