In-cell discontinuous reconstructions for the computation of shocks in non conservative systems

The topic of my talk is the numerical approximation of discontinuous solutions of non conservative hyperbolic systems. I will introduce the basics of a new deterministic strategy based on in-cell discontinuous reconstructions to deal with this very challenging topic. As an illustration, I will apply the strategy to a 2x2 non conservative toy model, and to a 3x3 gas dynamics system written in non conservation form. Numerical evidences will show a perfect agreement between exact and numerical solutions. In particular, the strategy computes any isolated shocks exactly.
