In random linear network coding a constant dimension code is a subset of the Grassmannain. Orbit codes are a subclass of constant dimension codes. They are characterized as the orbits under the action of a subgroup of the general linear group on the Grassmannian. We considered the construction of Sylow r-subgroups of linear group GL(n,pe), where r = 2 and r = p and orbit codes of them. The result is that orbit codes of Sylow r-subgroups have minimum distance equal to 2, 4 or 8.
