Counting rational points on singular cubic surfaces

Let V be a projective cubic surface. Manin's conjecture predicts the asymptotic behavior of the number of rational points of bounded height on V. In this talk, we will focus on examples of singular cubic surfaces for which Manin's conjecture can be proved.
