Translates of curves in homogeneous spaces and Dirichlet improvability on matrices

We will show that in homogeneous spaces, the expanding translates of a generic analytic curve under a flow get equidistributed with respect to the Haar measure. This also has an application to Diophantine approximation on matrices. The proof relies on Ratner's theorem on unipotent rigidity, linearization technique, and a new ingredient coming from geometric invariant theory.
