Ample line bundles on Flag Shimura varieties

We will introduce fibrations on Shimura varieties whose fibers are usual flags varieties. Line bundles on such fibrations are naturally related to automorphic vector bundles on the Shimura variety. A natural question is then to study the ampleness of such line bundles. This is related for instance to vanishing results for the coherent cohomology of the Shimura variety. This is joint work with Brunebarbe, Goldring and Koskivirta.
