We are proud to announce that Professor Xavier Ros-Oton has received the scientific prize of the Fundación Princesa de Girona!
The news from the FPdGi explains the decision as follows: The awards jury chose Xavier Ros-Oton for being one of the most brilliant mathematicians with the greatest global impact, despit being just 30 years old. He has been recognised by the mathematical community as one of the most influential researchers owing to his work on partial differential equations, which make a vital contribution to the field of science, and in 2018 he was the most cited mathematician of his age in the world.
