Abstract:We will discuss several representations for subspaces and codes (reduced row echelon form, Ferrers diagrams, identifying vectors, rank-metric codes, finite fields, automorphisms, cyclic codes, linearlized polynomials, subspace polynomials, Plucker embedding) and how can they help to obtain good codes.
This will include several results from new papers and many results from old papers.
