The Picard group of a noncommutative algebraic torus

Abstract: (Joint work with Yuri Berest and Xiang Tang). We compute the Picard group of the noncommutative algebraic torus A_q (assuming that q is not a root of unity). We also describe its action on the space R(A_q) of isomorphism classes of rank 1 projective modules and classify algebras Morita equivalent to A_q.
