Coxeter groups are abstract versions of reflection groups. They can be easily defined using generators and relations but have many interesting geometric and combinatorial properties and occur in various areas of mathematics, e.g. as Weyl groups in Lie theory. I will give a short introduction to this family of groups, talk about basic properties and present examples.
