Homeworks:
Problem Sheets with Exercises will be posted HERE weekly on Wednesdays.
The problems and solutions will be discussed during the TA sessions on Wednesday and Thursday of the following week.
Sample Solutions to Selected Problems will be also posted here but can be accessed only by registered students. You need to be logged in into My to see them.
Feedback: You can upload of Homework Soutions through My to receive feedback from the TAs on a voluntary base. You can receive detailed feedback and ask questions during the weekly Office Hour.
Homework Assessments will take place in class on October 14 and December 1 for an Exam Bonus (details in class).

Homeworks: Homeworks will be made available weekly on Wednesdays. TAs will discuss them in the TA classes the following week. Sample solutions to selected problems will be posted online. The Homeworks will be assessed through the 'Homework Assessments' in class on 14. October and 1. December for an Exam Bonus (details in class). Upload on My is voluntary to get feedback from the assistants. Questions on exercise solutions can be answered during the weekly TA Office Hour.

Recordings
Recodings will be available on https://uzh.mediaspace.cast.switch.ch/
They are posted in the channel MAT 701 Topology HS26, and are accessible only to subscribed students (Kanal Mitglieder). Instructions on how to access it will be sent to registered students.
Warning: do not rely on Recordings to learn the material. Attendance to lectures and TA sessions in person is strongly recommended. Especially do not be tempted to 'binge' on material or wait later: paced, slow learning is important for maturing the deep understanding and problem solving abilities required.
Exam
Exam dates: missingThe Exam date is already set by the MNF central office, see here: it will take place on: Monday, February 8, 2027, 9.00-12.00
Exam Bonus: a bonus (up to +.5 mark) can be obtained through the 'Assessed Exercises' during the 1st hour of lecture, on the two following dates: Wed 14 October and Wed December 1 (further details given during the course).
The Exam is written and will take place with closed books. No cheat sheet is allowed. It will consist mostly of exercises to solve (in the spirit of Homework problems), but theory questions concerning fundamental definitions and results will also be included.
During the exam, it will be possible to ask to have any of these definitions/results written down (of course loosing the points for the part of the question concerning the theory) in order to solve the rest of the exercise.
If you want to try to do a Past Exam in this style, you can try the one given in HS 2022 below (and of course you can also solve exams by other Professors who taught the course in other Academic years).
