SampleSizeR: a shiny app

Available at http://shiny.math.uzh.ch/git/reinhard.furrer/SampleSizeR/.

SampleSizeR is an interactive web apps with R (shiny app) to calculate sample size based on power analysis for confirmatory experimental designs and precision estimate for exploratory experimenta designs.

It has been initiated in 2021 by the Applied Statistics group of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Machine Learning (DM3L) at the University of Zurich. The aim of the online resource is to help scientists to better plan their experiments. The default values and settings are tailored to experiments in animal or preclinical research.

There are many other and similar resources available. We wanted a setting where we have a uniform notation, synchronized with our lecture notes and preferred textbooks. As time evolves, we add more elements to this page, of course.

Considerable effort has been put into software development and evaluation, but there is no warranty whatsoever.

Lead Dr. Bernadetta Tarigan and Prof. Dr. Reinhard Furrer. Main programmers Georgy Astakhov and Kalina Cherneva, contributor Pablo Rothen.
