Webster's algebra and Standardly Stratified Structures

Abstract: Webster introduced a new way to think about cyclotomic quotients, which leads to a construction of categorifications of tensor products. This is en route to categorifying the entire ribbon category structure on the category of quantum group representations. We discuss standardly stratified categories, which are the main tool used in Webster's proofs.
