How to get there

  • From Zurich main station
    Take Tram No 6 direction Zoo and get off at the stop ETH/Universitätsspital. It is then a short walk
    along the Rämistrasse to the University of Zurich.

  • From Zurich airport
    Take Tram No 10 direction Zürich HB (main station). In about 30 minutes you arrive at the Tram
    stop ETH/Universitätsspital. From there it is a short walk along the Rämistrasse to the University.

Registration Fee

The registration fee of 100 CHF needs to be paid at the registration desk in cash. For students, the workshop is free, provided their supervisor sends a student confirmation.

Workshop Dinner

The workshop dinner will be on Thursday starting at 18:00 in the restaurant "Wirtschaft Neumarkt", Neumarkt 5, 8001 Zürich, which is only a short walk away from the university. (Costs: 80 CHF including drinks).

City Tour

On Friday morning at 8:30am you can join a guided city tour through the beautiful old town of Zurich. The tour starts at "Central", which is the big traffic junction to the east of the main station and to the right of the river Limmat. You will walk through the eastern part of the historic centre of Zurich, and visit the Niederdorf and the Grossmünster Church, among other interesting places. The tour ends at 10:00am at the university, where you can refresh during the coffee break. (Costs: 10 CHF).
